Green Advisory’s directors offer a unique combination of sustainability subject matter expertise, and substantial business management. They have both operational and senior experience in sustainability roles with ASX100 listed companies including Wesfarmers and Pilbara Minerals, as well as with leading regulatory agencies, not-for-profit organisations and sustainability and risk consultancies such as ERM, LRN and Risk Advisory Services. 

Peter Blackmore Headshot

Over 30 years senior executive experience including 17 years as a CEO within a $50 billion market cap business conglomerate, working principally in the high compliance governance areas of risk and insurance and moving into the sustainability area over the past 15 years. He was Managing Partner at ERM, a leading international sustainability consultancy.

During his career, Peter has conducted many enterprise-wide and project specific risk assessment projects, incorporating governance and risk education.

Peter has specialist expertise in international ethics and compliance areas, initially gained a relevant master’s degree) and was Director of Global Business Engagement at Walk Free, an international human rights group with a mission to end modern slavery.

In addition to his “hands on” management experience, Peter has also gained extensive strategy and business planning knowledge through his 25 years in YPO and mentoring roles.

Jane Aberdeen Green Advisory

Over twenty years’ senior experience in identifying and implementing sustainability opportunities for a wide range of organisations, including ASX200 companies and not-for profit organisations. She uses her first-hand operational experience with her well-developed subject matter knowledge to help develop practical and meaningful solutions for clients.

Prior to establishing Green Advisory, Jane was Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Manager at Pilbara Minerals. Key responsibilities included managing company sustainability strategy development, sustainability materiality assessment and integration of supporting activities throughout the business, as well managing external affairs activities covering corporate, operational and project development aspects of stakeholder engagement and issues management including overseeing production of the 2021 and 2022 sustainability reports.

Previously, Jane was Environment and External Affairs Manager at AWE/Mitsui E&P Australia with responsibilities including corporate, operational and project development aspects of stakeholder engagement and issues management for assets in Australia and New Zealand.

Jane has also held senior roles with lead regulatory agencies in Western Australia, in the areas of environmental impact assessment, policy development, auditing and strategic development. She has a long history of volunteering with not-for-profit organisations, including extensive board experience.
